  2. Disguise a Gingerbread Man Contest!

    Run, run as fast as you can! The Gingerbread Man is being chased, can you help him escape! To help him get away, decorate him (or her) to look like your favorite book character. KPL will provide the gingerbread cut out, you supply the materials to decorate your character. There will be an opportunity to post a photo of your creation on our FB page for a chance to win a prize! Registration is required. Limited to 50 participants in PreK - Grade 5. Registrants may pick up a gingerbread man cutout beginning on Tuesday, December 1. Look for our Facebook post on Tuesday, December 8. Comment on that post with a photo of your creation for a chance to win!

  3. Teen Take-Out Crafts: Mini Hoop Craft

    Do you love take-out? Try craft projects to go! This month we have a mini hoop project all packed and ready for registrants to pick up at the front desk. How-to videos will be available on Facebook, our website, and on our YouTube channel. You can create your project whenever you wish. Registration is required and is limited to 50 people in Grades 3-12. Register by Tuesday, December 1 at 8:00 am. Take-out is available at the front desk beginning on Tuesday, December 1. How-to video will air on Tuesday, December 8 at 4:00 pm.

  5. Virtual STEAM Challenge: Snowflake Challenge

    Each month we'll present a different science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) challenge that your family can try at home. Registration is required. Limited to a maximum of 50 participants per session. Snowflake Challenge: This is a winter STEAM project that combines math and art. We challenge you to create symmetrical snowflakes! Using Q-tips to create the snowflakes, the possibilities are endless…and beautiful! Supplies will be provided by the library. Register by Friday, December 11 at 8:00 am. Supplies may be picked up at the front desk beginning on Friday, December 11.

  6. Family Fri-Yay! Challenge

    Find a new in-home challenge posted on our Facebook page at 6:00 pm on the second Friday of the month. These challenges can be completed using everyday items found in the home. Complete the challenge by midnight on Sunday. Post a photo in the comments of our original post on Facebook for a chance to win a prize. One winning family will be randomly selected for each challenge.

  7. Genealogy Quest: Zoom Edition

    This is a drop-in meeting for people needing genealogical assistance or advice and for those wanting to share new discoveries they've made. A volunteer from the Buffalo County Historical Society and library staff will be on hand to share tips and tricks. We'd love to help you in your quest. You can create your craft whenever you wish. Registration is required and is limited to 30 people. If you're not able to register, please feel free to gather the supplies and craft along with us!
