On March 17, 2020 Governor Ricketts issued an executive order permitting local governmental boards, commissions and other public bodies to meet by videoconference, teleconference or other electronic means through May 31, 2020.
As a result, the regular Kearney City Council meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020 will be conducted through teleconference means and will not be held in Council Chambers located in City Hall.
How to access these meeting?
Using a phone, call (224) 501-3412. You will be prompted to provide the following access code: 773-693-677 by using your phone’s keypad.
At the time of the meeting, further instructions will be provided from the Mayor regarding this unique process.
Will the meetings be live-streamed?
No, only audio will be provided through teleconferencing by using the dial-in information above.
Please remain patient as City staff has been working diligently to test this new process.
